Soil survey of the Calliope-Yeppoon Area, Central Queensland - CQH

This publication set is a soil survey of the Calliope-Yeppoon area, Central Queensland. The study area covers parts of the Calliope, Gladstone, Rockhampton, and Bayfield (9149, 9150, 9051, 9052) 1:100,000 map sheets. Approximately 51,200 hectares of land were mapped at 1:75,000 scale and land suitability for agriculture was evaluated. Nearly 1500 sites were assessed using the free survey method and 93 soils were identified.
