Soil survey of the lower Burdekin River, Redbank to Bob's Creek and Bowen River Area, North Queensland - BSA

This publication set is a soil survey of the lower Burdekin River, Redback to Bob's Creek and Bowen River area, North Queensland. The study area covers parts of the Strathalbyn, Ayr, and Mingela (8357, 8358, 8258) 1:100,000 map sheets. Approximately 215,000 hectares of land were mapped at 1:100,000 scale. Land suitability for a range of crops was evaluated. Approximately 3400 sites were assessed using the free survey method and 127 soil profile classes were identified.
