The Right Skills Strategy 2025-2028

The Right Skills Strategy is a plan to create a highly skilled workforce, strengthening Queensland’s economy and supporting Queenslanders to access more than 430,000 job opportunities in existing and emerging industries by 2028.

The strategy will expand training in regional areas, deliver state-of-the-art TAFE infrastructure, and support the next generation of trainers. Together with industry, providers, and communities, the strategy will work to close skills gaps in key sectors and create clear career pathways.
