The Queensland Government has launched The Right Skills Strategy 2025–2028, a more than $5 billion investment designed to build a highly skilled workforce and support Queenslanders to access more than 430,000 job opportunities by 2028.
The strategy will strengthen engagement and collaboration with industry and stakeholders; support access to quality training where and when it is needed through TAFE, private and not-for-profit training providers; deliver state-of-the-art TAFE infrastructure; support the next generation of teachers and trainers; and expand training opportunities across regional Queensland.
Collaboration is central to this work. By partnering with industry, training providers, and communities, the strategy will create clear career pathways and address skills gaps in key areas such as healthcare, housing, manufacturing, and construction.
We invite you to share the strategy, promote career opportunities, and identify ways to collaborate. See our promotional kit for resources you can share: https://comms.desbt.qld.gov.au/v/145694/1008816/email.html?k=aoKAE1UmrevKZs99zqp1ME2diGH1dYk4PTKQVnRlor0
