Risk Assessment Guidelines

The Working with Children Check Act 2000 (the Act) requires Blue Card Services to create guidelines on how risk assessments are conducted.

The Risk Assessment Guidelines aim to explain how decisions are made under the blue card system and how Blue Card Services considers relevant information when deciding if someone is eligible to work with children in activities regulated by the Act.

Blue Card Services reserves the right to periodically update this document as required to reflect any additional information relevant to blue card risk assessments.
